As a UU minister, wedding minister, wedding officiant, and wedding celebrant she primarily serves the NC Triangle and Greensboro: Orange, Durham, Wake, Chatham, and Alamance counties and the towns of Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Durham, Raleigh, Hillsborough, Cary, Mebane, Holly Springs, Fuquay Varina, Apex, Bahama, Burlington, and Efland.

What happens next .....
You and Rev. Robin Renteria will talk on the phone or communicate by email to affirm that you want her as your wedding minister or officiant. (She has a webcam, too.) For some couples, email or phone is enough; other couples like a personal interview. When you're sure you want her for your wedding minister or officiant, you can begin to talk more in depth about your vision for your ceremony.
Rev. Robin Renteria provides you with information about how she works with couples and her fees. There are some questions to be answered to know exactly what she can offer you. She keeps her fees competitive with other local wedding ministers and wedding officiants. You'll find more information about how she determines her fees on her Rev. She considers a date yours only when she has a contract and deposit from you. Until that time, she continues to meet with other couples interested for that date and time. When possible, she lets couples know if others want the same date and time, but if a couple wants to contract with her immediately, she honors that request.
When you decide you want her as your wedding minister, you complete a contract with her and you pay a $50. deposit to secure your date for 10 days. The deposit applies to the total cost. She requires, at minimum, payment of 1/2 your ceremony cost within the next 10 days because once she gives you a date and time, she turns away other couples. However, she understands that many couples are budgeting carefully, so she will create a payment plan with you upon request. After the contract and initial payment are in place she begins to create your ceremony with you. You have creative control over everything in your ceremony. We create the script together and you see it well in advance.
During this time Rev. Robin Renteria also plans all the formalities for your ceremony with you. Her comprehensive Rehearsal Form helps you make all these detail decisions so that, whether she guides the rehearsal or not, all will go smoothly.
About a month before your wedding she sees what decisions still need to be made and contacts you. By the beginning of the week of your ceremony little is undecided, and since everything is written down on your wedding script, nothing is ambiguous.
During this whole time it's her joy to be a calm, flexible, knowledgeable resource for you so that you can let go of worries and enjoy this wonderful time in your life.
If for any reason she can’t honor the contract, (this hasn’t happened yet in eighteen years!)
she'll find an officiant for you, bring them up to speed, and arrange payment for them from the fee you've paid her. She has a large group of colleagues who respond this way for each other.
